Directions :

From M40 J6 follow B4009 (Thame), left A40 (Thame), right B4012 (Thame); follow ring road/by-pass (sign-posted right 'Through Traffic' at entry to town) over 2 roundabouts (2nd exit on both) then after pedestrian crossing (skate park on right) enter pitches on right through gate before Aylesbury(A418)/Long Crendon roundabout.

FromM40 J8 follow A418 Thame/Aylesbury; then
A418 from Oxford ; at roundabout for Thame town centre, turn left to stay on A418 towards Aylesbury; at next roundabout  take 3rd exit to go onto Thame by-pass/ring-road; turn left immediately onto pitches through gate.

A418 Aylesbury; turn left (1st exit) at Long Crendon Roundabout onto Ring road by-pass; immediately left onto pitches through gate. 

 

 SOUTHERN ROAD RECREATION GROUND

Our Junior sides and some older sides play at the Southern Road Recreation Ground.

Directions :

From M40 J6 follow B4009 (Thame), left A40 (Thame), right B4012 (Thame); continue into Thame - at first junction in Town branch left opposite Shell garage and follow Park Street into Thame Centre. Continue over mini-roundabout to enter Upper High Street passing Market Place (Swan Hotel) on right. Continue over next mini-roundabout onto High Street passing Town Hall on right. Turn left at double-mini-roundabout at the end of High Street immediately after Rising Sun pub. Continue up Southern Road - turn right into Southern Road Rec on the sharp left corner after the playground. Please note parking advice below.

FromM40 J8 follow A418 Thame/Aylesbury; then
A418 from Oxford ; at roundabout for Thame town centre follow signs for Thame town centre (Oxford Road), passing Sports Centre and Lord Williams Upper School on right. Continue towards town centre turning sharp right into High Street. Continue towards town centre passing Six Bells pub on right. Turn right at mini-roundabout opposite Rising Sun pub. Continue up Southern Road - turn right into Southern Road Rec on the sharp left corner after the playground. Please note parking advice below.

A418 Aylesbury; turn left (2nd exit) towards Thame town centre (Aylesbury Road). Continue past cricket pitch and church (on the right) - turn right (3rd exit) at Waitrose / Police Station roundabout (Bell Lane). At double mini-roundabout opposite Rising Sun pub turn right then left to take Southern Road beside the Rising Sun. Continue up Southern Road - turn right into Southern Road Rec on the sharp left corner after the playground. Please note parking advice below.

SOUTHERN ROAD REC - PARKING ADVICE : There is a car park at the ground adjacent to the Scout hut. Parking is also available in Moreton Lane that runs adjacent to the ground. Please park considerately in the area.

Follow the signs for the Leisure Centre. Park either at the top car park immediately on entering from Oxford Rd, or follow the road down towards the Leisure Centre where there is more parking NOTE it can get very busy in the lower car parks. Facing the Leisure Centre, the all-weather pitches are to the right. Go through the wooden-gate to the right of the all-weather pitches and continue forwards - the football pitches are directly ahead.

LEWKNOR
The beautiful village of Lewknor is situated on the outskirts of Thame. Facilities include home and away changing rooms,  bacon and sausage rolls along with other refreshments.

 

Directions from Aylesbury
Go through Princes Risborough to Chinnor. In Chinnor, take B4009 signposted to M40 and Watlington. After going under the M40 motorway on the road to Watlington, take the first turning right into Lewknor village. Follow the main road through the village, which is the High Street, and the ground is on the right at the far end of this road.

Directions from High Wycombe / Stokenchurch
Come off the M40 going north bound at junction 6 and turn left onto B4009 towards Watlington. Take first turn right to Lewknor and follow road back through the village to the end. Turn right into Lewknor playing fields.


Lord Williams's Lower School
